Kyle is an award winning freelance photographer that is based in Dallas, TX. KyleCoburn.com is a display of recent work, which currently consistst of weddings for the most part. His wedding documentary style can be described as photojournalism with an artistic eye on portraits.
His background is in Journalism, having graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Journalism in Photojournalism and having worked in the industry covering news and sports. Kyle has brought his strong sense of timing, peak action, and anticipation from sports to the wedding world.
Kyle previously served as Director of Photography for the North American Pro Golf Tour, Head Photographer for the University of Missouri Athletics Department, as a Staff Photographer and Photo Editor for the Missourian Newspaper, Photographer for the New England Pro Golf Tour, and has an extensive freelance career, including weddings, sports, and corporate work.
Born and raised in Dallas, TX, he loves to travel and documents weddings all over the world.
Kyle’s Favorite Destination wedding locations: Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Napa Valley, CA, New England beaches, (Italy some day!).
Kyle’s favorite non-wedding events he has covered: 2007 Masters, Cotton Bowl, Sun Bowl, Poinsettia Bowl, BIG 12 championships, the Dallas Cowboys, and PGA events including the Dallas based Byron Nelson and Colonial.
